Estonia Women’s U17 team found out the opponents for Round 2
Today, on December 7, the draw was made to announce the groups of Round 2 of the Women’s U17 European Championship, which will be held in the spring of 2023.
After the first round that took place in autumn 2022, Estonia retained its place in league A. As a result of the draw, Estonia will face Czech Republic, Poland and Romania in Round 2. Winners of the seven groups in league A redeem their spot at the final tournament in Estonia. As the host, Estonian women’s U17 team has already secured its place among the eight finalists. In the event that Estonia wins its group, the best second place team in league A will enter the final tournament.
Round 2 of the European Championship qualifying tournament is hosted by Romania in the Estonian group.

March 8 at 11.00: Estonia – Poland, Football Center FRF (Buftea)
March 8 at 16.00: Czech Republic – Romania, Football Center FRF (Buftea)
March 11 at 11.00: Czech Republic – Estonia, Football Center FRF (Buftea)
March 11 at 16.00: Poland – Romania, Football Center FRF (Buftea)
March 14 at 16.00: Romania – Estonia, Football Center FRF (Buftea)
March 14 at 16.00: Poland – Czech Republic, Concordia (Chiajna)
The UEFA women’s U17 European Championship will take place in Estonia in May 2023. The matches are divided between two centers: group A plays in North Estonia’s center at Lilleküla stadium and Kadrioru Stadium, and in group B, the matches are played in South Estonia’s center at Tartu Tamme Stadium and Võru Stadium. The final tournament will officially kick off on May 14, when the first matches will be played in both groups, and will culminate in the final on May 26, which will be played in Tallinn at Lilleküla Stadium.
