Groups of the final tournament will be determined at the Final Draw on Thursday
On Thursday, April 13, the spectacular Final Draw event will take place in the Estonian Football Association, after which the groups of the UEFA Women’s U17 Championship will be determined.
After Round 2 of the qualifying tournament, eight teams advanced to the final tournament in Estonia: England, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and among them the host Estonia. The delegations of UEFA and the countries participating in the final tournament will arrive in Tallinn for the draw event on April 13. In total, about 30 foreign guests are coming to the draw, and during their stay in Estonia they will visit the cities hosting the tournament, as well as the hotels and stadiums there.
The Final Draw event will kick off on April 13 at 10:00 a.m. In the introductory part of the event, president of the Estonian FA Aivar Pohlak will give the opening remarks. The ambassadors of the final tournament, Mari Liis Lillemäe and Lisette Tammik, will also have the stage, and then together with UEFA women’s national team competitions manager, David Balmer, will draw the final tournament participants into two groups of four. The Final Draw event is hosted by the beloved Estonian sports journalist Aet Süvari.

At UEFA Women’s U17 Championship, the teams will compete in two groups of four. Group A competes in the center of Northern Estonia, where matches are played at Lilleküla Stadium and Kadrioru Stadium. The host of the tournament, Estonia, has been placed in Group A. Group B matches will be held in South Estonia at Tartu Tamme Stadium and Võru Stadium.
In the group phase, teams play each other once, and the two best teams from both groups advance to the semifinals. This year’s European champion will be determined in the spectacular final on May 26, which will be held at the Lilleküla stadium.
